Japanese Breakfast Lunch & Dinner in Kagawa Japan | Hidden Gems

  • This time im watchin ur vid while havin a nice english breakfast, so i drooled less seeing u have urs ๐Ÿ˜„ I like the bean cake – tasty but not too sweet. And ๐Ÿ‘ to you both for conquering the steps in the hot weather; i'd have melted half way thru..especially with all the reminders on where u are on the long climb…๐Ÿ˜†

  • The clip at the udon noodle factory reminded my of this scene from the movie "Udon" . The way the okyu sweet looks and how Shinichi describes okyu, I think it might might moxa. I am not sure if the word moxa comes from English, but that is what I know it as.

  • Very Interesting and tempts my taste-buds.
It's a tad frustrating because I can barely understand one of the hosts.
Keep up your good job !!!

  • ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’š Gorgeous sceneries, delish food & wonderful couple! Keep up with the great content guys! Take care & cheers ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’š

  • Another wonderful video, guys. Satoshi, you must have a very sensitive and educated pallet. The way you describe what you are eating and the flavours and sensations you experience, is almost like being there with you! I too saw you both on Asian Boss a while ago. You are a credit to your community for being so open and I hope that you were a help to many. Bravo!

  • Thank you for taking a picture together at this time. I'm glad you enjoyed the trip. Please come to eat udon again๐Ÿ’•

  • Thank you for sharing…I always look forward seeing your vlogs. ๐Ÿค—
    Delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ Don't know where to begin!๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿฅข๐Ÿœ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ—๐ŸฅŸ๐Ÿฆโค

  • The Watermelon on stick sweetie and the chicken looked the best for me โ˜บ๏ธ
Keep up the good work fellas! Love your videos.

  • wow I never tried Japanese congee before and it looks delicious in this video. I tried mixed congee with some salty Marmite or Miso paste before and is really good. Fermented tea must be quite interesting idea.

  • I loved this video and the food made salivate for chicken and everything else you ate. The scenery was so beautiful. Once again thank you for taking me along with venture to kagawa. You guys have a wonderful day!

  • I prefer Udon to ramen it's a more comforting filling noodle …the ice cream looked amazing .. loved the video

  • ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™Thank you for this! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™

I love your Meet My Kagawa video especially the Ritsuri garden part, so I'm ecstatic for this video.
The prefecture has nice balance of rural and modern areas, the food selections definitely reflects this.
    Definitely a must visit. ๐Ÿค—

  • the ice cream looked so good around 13:00 but i didnt hear a word you said over that cute dog in the background

  • Japan is so incredibly beautiful. Every time I watch videos of Japan I feel intensely homesick, even though Iโ€™ve never been there a day in my life. I really hope I get to visit someday. Itโ€™s #1 on my bucket list before I die.

  • This was SO entertaining. I felt like I was right there with you trying all those delicious foods and treats. I really enjoy these videos, showing all aspects of your traveling and food experience. Please keep making more of these. You can definitely feel the culture, both in the city and the countryside. Love you guys!

  • I spent two days in Kagawa prefecture (Naoshima and Teshima) two years ago and I still can't believe how good the udon was! I can't wait to go back!

  • The breakfast looks amazing, but I skip the okayu. I hate rice gruel (or any kind of poridge really). But the view of the gardens is stunning. What an unusually gelato flavours (0.0) hahaha the new trick to let children eat veggies. The second shopping street, the one to the temple looks so charming. With all the stairs it reminded me a bit of parts of Enoshima near Kamakura. My daughter is begging to go there just for the soft serve and teh broad beans. It's one of her favourite vegs.

Isn't okyu a kind of incense you burn on your body?

  • Wow, what a wonderful garden, simply magical to have breakfast surrounded by that view! The town is pretty nice too, so much different from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The view from the Shrine was absolutely breathtaking!

  • I don't know why you both don't weugh 200 lbs. since you seem to eat all the time….But you also WALK a lot!… Enjoy.

  • Your videos just keep getting better and better guys ๐Ÿ™‚ Just a small note that those of us who watch with subtitles…the subtitles are usually on the bottom and sometimes they cover the names of the places. I usually just end up moving the subtitles to a different part of the screen, but it's something to think about.

  • Thanks for doing this video! A quick question – would Kagawa be a good place to plan a day trip if you are based in Osaka..? Is is close enough to do this..?

  • You boys once again proved that in order to stay healthy and slim, you don't need to starve yourself. With Japanese food, no starvation, but also no obesity! Beans and vegetables and noodles and chicken and ice cream… doesn't sound like a diet to me. Just climb a few mountains, every now and then!

  • I am slowly learning Japanese – can you help by converting words from Japanese to English. For example "mountain" Thank you –

  • I love your videos! I really appreciate how you describe the flavour and textures of what you are eating! Please keep on making these amazing videos!

  • That's how I make my congee/porridge – cook my rice or my pork, then use the broth to cook my rice – amazingly delicious!

  • How are you all doing? This some of what we're getting ~

  • Hi
you became a abo from me. WHY:
naturaly japan like information. Not from Tourist to Tourist. Its great ๐Ÿ™‚
The Amtmosphรคra of the places can be found in the taste again That can only be a Japanese. For me since your the Anthony Bourdain of Japanese cuisine. Greetings from Berlin Germany. I am now learning Japanese and may even be able to enjoy myself.
Thank you very, very, very much

  • I just love Satoshi!( hope I'm not misspelling ). He's so funny just by being himself. Such a nice lovely channel, great food, great sights, made me love Japan even more. Best of luck guys!

  • There's something so menacing about the phrasing Satoshi uses when he talks about older and younger animals. "The parents meat is firmer than the baby one." and just calling the food you're ripping your teeth into "the child one" will always have me doing a double-take, lol

  • The gelato kept making me think of the Pineapple-Apple-Pen song. ๐Ÿคฃ

Love you guys! I will most likely never get to visit Japan, but I can live vicariously through you!

  • These guys are too adorable…such pretty hair…love gelato but not too much makes your body gelato๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜€

  • The whole video was just stunning. I felt like I was right there with you suffering up those 700 something steps (I would have died), but the reward at the (semi) tip was just absolutely worth it.

I love a lot of the food you guys eat, but I was actually jealous of that amazing looking chicken you both got to enjoy. Everything about that chicken just screamed delicious and then dipping the onigiri into the oil?! Yessss! Rice is a staple in Spanish cooking as well as in Asian, so when you dipped that onigiri in the chickenโ€™s oil, that was just 100/10 right after my own heart. I love you guys and all that you share with us! ๐Ÿ–ค๐ŸŽ

  • I literally just startled myself with how loudly I laughed when Satoshi said: "This is dessert, not vegetable. Don't worry."

  • Awww, just found you guys through Asian Boss, you both are amazing, and this video is entertaining with good edits and music, thank you!

  • I love your videos and you two โค๏ธ

    But i have a question:
Does the Song at 8:43 has a name? It's "feel-good-music"
    Thank you for your help
