French Bistro Recipes : Finishing the Topping for your French Dessert


The last thing, as if this couldn’t get more
decadent already, these pits peu de creme, we’re going to add a little bit more cream.
I’m just going to whip up. And then, before I start whipping, I’m just going to add a
little bit of vanilla but no sugar, because this is very sweet all on it’s own so this
is going to be a little bit of relief for that. So I’m going to whip that on high. I’ll
make sure that’s sufficiently stiff. I just want soft peaks. I don’t want something…
I don’t want it to be too, too stiff. And so I’m going to spoon, just a dollop of cream
on each and then you could just as easily take some shavings of chocolate. Or, take
some cocoa and just dust it like that. It looks like a cup of coffee but oh boy, that
a wonderful treat. And that’s it, very simple.
